what the recent " terrible elecricity" has caused !

Hi friends , I know I haven't posted anything in a while , no ! In a long while, trust me I have been really busy , or that's what I tell myself . There has been so many things that has been going on in my head lately , a lot of things I have written down but haven't posted for you guys to read , I won't call it laziness , oh well there's no other way to say this , I hope I don't suck at writing :( ***** Ok let's get on to today's business . WE all need electricity , to read , to cook , to iron and bla bla especially to charge our phones and laptops ! A word without electricity is just terrible . I'm currently studying in obafemi awolowo university and the recent change in electricity is driving most students and even sellers insane ! When I say "change " I mean bad change ! *** In OAU the electricity has been bad for weeks now , there's hardly ever light , I'm pretty sure the "candle sellers" are really happy this period . Well , that fateful morning (few days ago) , there was nothing to do , it was really hot and I had just finished with a test , I was very thirsty , my phone was dead (the battery) and so was my system . After the test , my friends and I went back to our hostels desperately needing something cold . The good news was , the drinks were HOT ! *** We were very frustrated , there was nothing to do and our phones were dead ! One of my friends brought up the idea of going to other halls to charge our phones , since there was nothing to do I welcomed the idea even if the sun was REALLY hot and mean , we didnt mind much , we gisted and within munites we were in "moremi hall" where she earlier told me she saw light after our test ! To cut the story short there wasn't light , I was really mad , frustrated ,tired , and very sad . *** After some time we decided to go back to our hostel , we were about to cross, on the zebra crossing cars,jeeps, vans , okada's , whatsover moving vehicle is meant to STOP !(((((HELLO))))) . A tough looking guy on his "private " okada stopped and when we were about to cross he started off again and almost hit us , I was surprised and said "are you serious" normal statement people make when surprised or dissapointed Geez ! Surpised is the word. He gave me this mean look and I knew he didn't understand what I meant by "are you serious" he immediately packed his machine and started to walk towards my friend and I , trust me I was a bit scared , don't blame me I wouldn't want a smash on my face by some weird looking guy just because he didn't understand my english . *** After 3 big strides , MR mean looking guy was in front of me . "What did you say? " I just stared at him , he was creating a scene , a very BIG one . "I didn't say anything " "I said are you serious , I dint mean it the insultive way" I said and with a "ok" that wasn't more than a whisper he left ! Gosh my throat was in my mouth , for a second I actually thought he was gonna beat me up or something ! *SIGH!!!!! *** Thinking about the whole event and evrything that had happend , I decided to go back to my hostel . It was definately some day , I sincerely hope something is done about this electricity of a thing , we rely on it tooo much ! PLS PLS PLS :)
