I learnt something from my Aunty. She said caring about someone isn’t just about telling them , it’s about going out of your way to please them. It’s being uncomfortable to make someone other than you happy. I didn’t get it at first , it didn’t make much sense to me till she asked somethings of me. She knew it was going to be difficult for me, she asked me to do it anyway. I grumbled . It was tiring and I was extremely uncomfortable. She brought up what she once said about going out of your way for someone . That’s love. It was then I realized what she’s been trying to pass across. My view changed at that moment. I started questioning people that would say they care about me but have nothing to show for it without even realizing it. I find it weird for you to say you care about me and won’t go out of your way for me. You can’t say you love me and not remember me in prayers.
